Had a HUGE turn around.  I was discharged a little more than a month ago. The only card I tried for at the time was Credit One.  I got it but with all the fees I knew I needed a better card.   So after my score increase from the first payment ,I would try Cap 1 (burned for under 1k in BK) and Oh My they said yes.   300 limit but since it is a normal card with normal rates and no annual I am so okay with that.   Also walked into a Welcome to NCFU today. And was also approved for Kohls.   NCFU turned me down on a card but I will apply for the secured unless someone has another BK friendly option.

You should recon with NacyFed and send a secured message and see if they will overturn the denial even with a $500 limit. I would also cool your app spree for at least 6 months to let the dust settle. You don't want too many HPs on your credit in a short time. You could also try the STC with Comenity accounts, as Comenity is pretty BK friendly.

I am going to call them.   I want out of the Credit One card.  Fees are horrible.  Getting the car killed me on HP.   I am hoping to refi with NCFU in about 6 months.

Normally I would be all for it but Harley is right on this one.. Just send a secured message begging/pleading your case and ask them to at least start you with $500 so you can prove yourself and make them your primary card
