When will discharge happen?

5/19/14 is the final date for objection. No objections. I wonder when the discharge will finally show on PACER. Ugh. I'm getting so impatient.

It can take up to a month.

My local court does them on the 15th of every month - but I called and they did it that day.

Give it time.

Yes. I filed chapter 7. It's the Eastern District in Virginia. My meeting of creditors meeting was in Richmond, VA.

I was shocked when I saw I received my discharge today!! My last day to object was yesterday. However, I know that this is pretty uncommon. I would wait a couple weeks before worrying too much. I know that's easier said than done, but after reading posts and talking to others... A couple weeks after the last day to object to receive a discharge seems common. I'll hope you get it sooner than that though!

I got mine within 7 days of the last date to object.

My last day to object was 5/20. I just got my discharge letter today 2 days later!! I'm in maryland

I called the clerk's office and the lady told me that it usually takes 7 days after the last day for creditors to dispute. I'll be checking back next Wednesday.
