That's a hard question to answer. Great job on the credit scores so soon out of discharge by the way. You should speak to a loan specialist at the CU you want to use. They may be able to answer without running your credit. Every person I have spoken to about an auto loan & detailed my situation has only been able to say "Well it sounds approvable but the only way to see is to run the application." not exactly helpful when you're trying to avoid the hits.
Good luck!
You may have a shot at getting it refi'd, maybe not at the best rate, but probably better than you are now. You might also check with Cap1 Auto, they do refinancing as well. Having a good relationship with a credit union is smart. They are pretty easy to talk to.
Your scores are a little better or about the same as mine were 4 months post discharge, so you are doing well. Be smart with what you apply for and you will do ok. Good luck!
