A word of caution in regards to settlements. It seems that my lawyer was lazy and accepted EQs settlement form. EQ is very smart. They word it so that you cannot sue them again. I asked my lawyer about the wording and she assured me it only applied to that case. Well, her partner admitted that was wrong after I signed the agreement. So even though I have the same issue of 5 months of incorrect reporting by EQ with a different creditor, they worded the settlement so that I can't do anything about it.
