? about accounts in BK

...I was forced into CH 7 BK in May 2006 & as we all know that's a ---- buster for 10 years, no way around that.

However I'm not sure what the deal is with accounts/CC's included in the BK. I'm pretty sure that negative accounts are cleared away after 7 years but what if they were included in BK?

Thanks

Re: ? about accounts in BK

Seven years for the iib accounts and ten years for the public record of the bk. when you look at your credit reports ones direct from the big 3 you should see estimated time of removal date on each of the iib accounts.

Re: ? about accounts in BK

I believe for IIB accounts, the falloff date still goes by the DOFD, not by the BK date.

I think that's what deadbishop is saying, just sounded a bit confusing.

Re: ? about accounts in BK

Countingpennies yes you are correct. What i Meant was that the iib accounts is a shorter wait then the bk itself to falloff.

FANTASTIC, the DOFD is a few months earlier than the BK date>
