Will you be using Federal Loans?
It doesn't matter. I've been down this road and a guaranteed student loan is just that. By the time everything is complete, your BK will be discharged. You're looking to grow. Do it.

My gut says you'd be fine but my head also says to ask your attorney her/his opinion. Just make sure with s/he that they think you will be ok since we don't know the specifics of your case. I always try to error on the side of caution versus doing anything that might risk making a trustee upset......

Same here! I feel like I am always commenting to check with your lawyer. It's not to shoe people away, but because it's very important

I hear ya, Scupra - I feel like it's so important to check everything with the attorney. There's just so much we can't see in the case file that's not shared on the post. If your bk attorney is seasoned, s/he will know the trustees and know how they will react to certain things, what their quirks are......
This exactly! Funny thing, my lawyer was actually friends with the trustee working my case. Seemed a little odd but meh
Good luck to you on your journey !!!
