A chapter 7 that is discharged, which means you made all monthly paymenst on tiem & paid in full, will stay on your credit report for 7 years. On any bankruptcy the creditor has until the finalized date or close date on the bankruptcy to report any changes to the credit report. In other words once the bk is finalized any creditor involved in the bankruptcy can not do any updates to your credit report.
