It will most likely help as its been removed. What they did was 100% illegal, I would file a CFPB complaint on their tactics with demand for full refund of the amount paid. I might even info the BK court they most certainly will get you the funds back. Totally outrageous what was done here and I expect both of them would levy a fine of some sort for the illegal actions.
