My bk7 was discharged on 7-7-15 and i DID NOT reaffirm my mortgage and today received a letter from the usda stating that I was recently discharged but did not surrender nor reaffirm my home loan. I clearly had my lawyer state to the trustee numerous times as well as in the petition that the home was surrendered. The homes "phantom equity" was sold and the home should be legally out of my name this week but I got a notification from myfico stating they put a late payment on my credit this morning from usda. What should i do? I will be calling my lawyer in the morning for sure! Dropped my score 28 points from the late payment.
