i think accounts with no balance should not be included . because it is no debt . there is no balance to include . also i had pay off fingerhut long time and never use it again . i understand they close it it is okay . but why they indicated it was included in bk but it was not .also they report april payment as late and i had no balance at all to pay . 

but sure i need to read more about bk

I'd wait until after the DC. 2 weeks after Cap1 approved me. But I reaffirmed my truck. So I was established with them. But the truck showed included in bankruptcy ubtil 60 days passed. Cap1's policy.

I share a similar view.. I was only saying this because there is a couple of us who advise to close the accounts prior so they read "closed by consumer" rather than IIBK. Most creditors close accounts to save themselves from someone later down the road charging some money on a card and saying, "but I filed a no asset chapter 7 and everything prior to BK is included" Just CYA for lenders
