should IIB accounts show payment history?

Im 3 months out of discharge 7...all my IIB accounts are showing correct with zero balances. Although some of them still show the bad payment history.
Shouldnt each account just show zero balance, IIB and no payment history?

How long does it take for them to drop off? 7 years from last activity or certian time from discharge?

I want to buy a car at 6 months post....want to gain every point I can.
have 2 cc, one bank, one credit union..and a credit builder loan. All brand new.
According to what I have read...the 3 tradelines is all I need for now..I pay all but a few dollars on cc before statement cuts and just make a regular payment on the loan.
Any advise would be great..thank you

Re: should IIB accounts show payment history?

7 1/2 years rule still applies. All my payment history went away besides EX. They do not have to remove the payment history though. Good luck, I bought a car 9 months post d/c and got 4%

Re: should IIB accounts show payment history?

Experian doesn't delete the history, but the others do. I try to find lenders that only pull Equifax and Transunion since those are my best reports.

We are financing, well, refinancing, my wife's car we got after our BK. Our local CU is giving us 4.85% 9 months post discharge.

I think your local CU will be your best bet.

I just made the switch today and found out the reason for the big gap between my TU score vs EQ/EX.  All the inquiries I used last year to open the accounts post BK13 were pulled from TU other than CapOne who pulls all 3.

When I lived on the east coast EQ was the CRA that everyone pulled... out west it seems TU is the CRA of choice.   I've got a dozen Inquries on TU from 9/13 thru 12/13... we'll see what happens when they all reach a year old and supposedly no longer affect my score.

I see no other explanation for the score difference... the accounts listed are the same across all 3.

FICO8 current as of : 4-17-24 EQ: 724 TU: 707 EX: 706
