today is my 2 year post bk anniversary

my scores are not 700 (yet) possibly due to the fact that i had carried high utilization for the past 9months and im 30k in the hole for student loans but other than that im happy with my post bk rebuild. i was able to fiance a new car via cap1 with the blank check with no hassles. have had personal loan offers (high rates). last week i added $50K IN available credit (see my app spree results in the cc forum) in addition to the rebuilder accounts. i did follow soulmasters bk to 700 guide as close as i could with a few blips here and there (like app for a product to soon) was also pre qual for a mortgage loan * so financially like is good after the bk. thank you to myfico community...

I keep forgetting you and I are just a couple months apart in our BK..mine will be 2 yrs in mid August ...We have both done very well rebuilding, thanks to this forum, and NFCU deserves credit as well!!

A few posters don't care for them, but I don't care...If they hadn't given me a nice limit, I wouldnt have the other limits I do now with other cards.

only 8 more yrs to go for us, LOL...

It's not about not caring for them... it's just the simple fact if you are looking for credit (regardless of whether or not your profile actually supports it) then NFCU is where you need to apply assuming you are eligible.

Unless there's some other reason half the people I see at myFICO have $10-$15-$25k NFCU accounts with their other accounts being much less than that.

NFCU takes risks most other lenders don't... especially with people fresh out of BK7.

BTW, $181k? Thought you were gardening back at like $140k?

well, awhile back at the $140k mark , I had some approvals, BUT IM GARDENING NOW!!! Everything has just been CLI...like today!! Insane CLI!! LOL No more new accts!!
