If you have entries in Chex send them a letter demanding removal of them along with a copy of your discharge. Welcome to the board
Here's a letter I sent them after I ordered a copy of Chexsystems report and they cleared it.

Ok. Will do. What about a false report of "suspected fraud alert"? What needs to be done about that? Do Credit Card companies look at this?
Credit card companies do not look at your check systems report. If there is a false fraud alert placed on your profile it will hinder you from getting instant approvals when applying for credit. I would contact the credit bureaus or check systems and they will need to confirm your identity. Maybe by faxing or sending documents confirming your identity and removing the suspected fake fraud alert from your profile.
Still reading up on the difference between the two but will this letter work for EWS?

My brothers CC app from NFCU was denied because of his chexsystem report. He had written some checks that bounced at a different bank where his account was closed etc. It is still unsettled, but nothing shows on his credit report.
