Instantly approved for 10k. I have a prior relationship so I dont know if that helped but this is now my highest limit with AMEX. I have the everyday (6k) and Costco (2k).
Is it really true that existing customers receive a SP? I havent seen an alert yet that my credit was pulled.

Upon approval, as an AMEX member they will pull a credit report on you and yes; your relationship with AMEX does help.
