AMEX gold 75k points

So I was approved for the Amex gold open business card. I don't fly much, wondering what are my best options to use the 75k bonus points . If I use it for hotels , would that be a good redemption option? Or should I just wait for when I finally take a long trip and transfer them to an airline?

I got that same offer and have already hit the $5k spend (thanks to some help from work and relatives) and the points posted right after I made it. The best redemption value is on airlines especially now that ticket prices are so high. British Airways, Delta, and a few others you can xfer to. Best to look up what airlines fly the most from where you are. Also, if they are part of an airline partner group (OneWorld, etc) you can use points on other carriers.

@ Jeff, that's what I thought, transfer to airline. I will just wait until I get an opportunity and transfer to an airline . Do points expire?
