Amex Simply Cash Hard Pull

So I applied for the card couple days ago and got further review notice. Today they pulled my EX. Do they only hard pull when approved? Thanks.

I though Simply Cash always Hard Pull. I got same noticed. Checked mail a week later and they said they needed address verification. Called verified and was approved for 6k. .... You should be fine

I hope so as I hate to see a hard pull being wasted. Not bad 6k!

They only do soft pull denials for existing card holders. Do you already have an Amex card? For non card holders it's always a hard pull whether approved or not.
