App'd for the Amex Business Gold today

So I decided to step out the garden... (I wasn't there long)

I app'd for the Amex business gold. I was asked to connect amex to finish processing the application and the gentlemen stated that they were having problems pulling credit reports. I'll note that wasn't because I had them lock, it was because of something internal to Amex. He told me to check back in 36-48hrs.

Has anyone else incountered this?

I had an app stuck in the system for 24 hours and then called ony to be told "don't know why that happened but you're approved" Shurgs IDK

I app'd last Wednesday...Still no anwswer and no joy....

I need a backdoor number...For a credit decision maker...

I called and the lady said she would see about having it expidated. She told me to call back later today...

This is a great card for business spend if you can utilize alot of spend in one of the 3X cats.

I chose shipping for mine and we spend around $15K a month on Fed Ex and UPS so earning 45K MR's every month on this card up to 300K MR,s for the year at 3X.

Still no joy.... I called and some man (sounded like he was in Indiana) told me the same thing... No answer it's still pending review..
