Congrats on your new target card. I was approved for Target Business card with $700 CL. I never used the card. I do not know if it grows with CLI's. My personal card started with $200 CL couple of years ago and there is no change on it since then.

They suck. I have one and they only approved for 1K. PayDex 80, ExBiz 97, highest CL 25K.

Target is stingy even on there personal side. I go to target when I buy clothes for the kids and usually spend 300 dollars or more( 5 kids) In school.... I lay the target card down on counter and pay with my platinum card. Always get the same why arent You using your target card? I say the credit limit isnt enough to take care of the purchase. And that this card has a 25k limit on it. I usually get a cleaning supply and ask them to triple bag it because I dont want it to bust open and get inside my Lexus.
