Business Inquiries

I'm in the process of obtaining tradelines to really build up my business credit. I've applied for several business accounts over the last few days, some of which include Exxon, Shell, Radio Shack and Quill.

My question is, I have not seen any new inquiries on my DNB or Experian business reports. Not even one. I monitor both reports daily. How can this be explained?

Thanks,

UM

Re: Business Inquiries

only certain companies leave inquiries on your report. Most major credit cards will But I beleive on DNB There is no way to tell I am not sure about how companies look at Duns but I know for sure you wont bew able to see. I do know that if your seeking business credit you might want to apply for it every month once

Re: Business Inquiries

Hi 2wheel,

Does that mean if I can't see it on my reports, other creditors can't as well?

Or do the same rules apply as personal credit - multiple inquiries will hurt the business score. It sounds like most don't show, which is a good thing.

Thanks,

Re: Business Inquiries

I dont think inquiries hurt your score on business reports but I know you cant see them I had Duns call me 1 time and said I had had 4 report pulls in 1 month so I know duns keeps them  somehow but on the other hand I dont know if a business can se how many inquiries you have
