Cap One sent me an invitation letter w/code in a nice embossed envelop to app for Spark. I considered it for a couple weeks, but with my income & spending that $4500 spend within 3 months to get the $500 spend bonus would have been a challenge for me, I would have had to do things like pay my entire 3 month 2 car & 12 month home insurance policies in full instead of monthly, and with no 0% intro I would have ended up paying interest. Thanks to the OP I looked at the Spark Select - not as good spend bonus, $200 for charging $3k, 1.5% rewards but no AF, and 8 months 0% (until May 2016). So I decided that worked better for me, app'd yesterday and got instant approval for $5k SL. I don't mind the reporting on my perosnal CR, I'm still rebuilding from a BK7 discharged 1/2011, so the $5k CL puts me over $55k in CC CLs + car loan.
