Changing business name on CC

Just received my DW Chase Ink Bold....beautiful card but our problem is my wife is changing her home business name. Is it just a simple call to Chase to have them update the name and resend the card?


Starting Score: TU 660 EQ 623 EX 644
Current Score: TU 670 EQ 683 EX ???
Goal Score: 700 on all 3

Is the card linked to an EIN or your social?

 

If it's just your social, should be no issue to change name.

If it's EIN change outside of like a DBA, you might have issues.

 

"at least" in the past American Express makes you close out and open new if business info (ownership) changes.

GE and Citi backed business stuff in the past I was able to send in letter for the change and had no issue.

Waiting is so Overrated! :smileytongue:
