You can call, but be ready to get nailed with questions regarding your business. From what I've seen here and other forums, people who waited had a better chance of getting approved.
Now, if you get a denial letter, go ahead and call as you got nothing to lose.

Trust me, I don't call UW or lending.... They nail you about everything and anything... Surprised they haven't asked why I'm named what I'm named

Today - i called the status line and it changed from 30 days to the 7-10 day wait which is probably a denial.

Should I still not call recon?

Just wait for the letter that states denial, once you receive it call Lending/UW, or you call call now that's just my preference.

UPDATE: I know lots of people find these from google so i want to be throrough.

I just got a cap1 spark for 10K for my company with no problem so I figured i'd call chase and see what was up.  Turns out they just wanted verification of my company address and a copy of my SS-4 faxed in.

They gave me a number to fax in my SS-4, told me it'd take about a week to process and then "i'd be all set".

So - I guess if its not an actual denial, calling doesn't hurt too bad.

Final update!

I sent all the documentation they asked for last week, and every day I called it continued to say 7/10 day waiting period.

This afternoon I called and the automated line told me I'd been approved and would recieve my card in 10 business days. 15K SL

Don't lose hope 7-10'ers, and 5/24 def didin't affect me
