Company applied for Chase Ink card, and it dinged my personal file. why?

why would it have dinged my scorewatch, it said there is a new inquiry, the card was for the Ink Plus, and they used my SS and TIN on the application.

 

"Score Watch® sends you an alert of a new inquiry when there has been an application for a new credit account in your name."

Any app by you for a business card will result in a HP on your personal CR's due to the fact you are guaranteeing payment of all charges (PG)

Question tho is this your company?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
