Former First Equity... going to report!

Former First Equity now Bankcard Services sent notice today that they will began reporting to personal credit in December... Thanks a lot, not only did you close my account because you went bankrupt or whatever happened but now you will just take one more stab into my back and report the balance.

what are you going to do?

a couple schools of thought.

I owe 8000 on a old 10,000 line. I do not want this reported.  I am either going to pay if off or leave 1,500 on it.

If I left 1,500 do you think this could possibly help my utilization? Do you think they wil report it as a revoving account with 1,500 limit 10,000?

Or do closed accounts not count towards utilization?
