Just wondering how exactly is the $300 Bonus for $3,000 paid out?

30k UR Points, a statement credit or a check?

Also if it is paid in UR is it worth more on this card if used for travel or still the same amount?

I believe it is a statement credit.

Hmm that's weird becaus BOA had a similar offer for $200 bonus for 1k spend and they paid it to me in points.

All Chase bonuses are paid in Chase UR points.  In this case, you'll receive 30,000 UR points that be redeemed for $300 cash back or used for transfer to travel partners if you have one of the needed cards like CSR.

Also, if you look at the Chase site for this card, this is explained under 'offer details'
