Hey guys,
I need recommendations for a high yield interest earning bank account. Please post your suggestions. I already tried looking at the websites that list these, but I don't know about the listed banks' reputations, so I would like feedback from you guys,
(sorry if posted in wrong section, didn't think it should go in personal finance)
There is no such thing as high yield savings anymore. Rates are near 0% you will be lucky getting a 5 year CD at 1.25% - 1.50%.
You are a student, any extra saving should be in the market with dividend yield of 3.50 - 4.50% high quality stocks, example Merck 3.61% dividend yield. If you have a 5 - 10 year time-line for those savings, not a bad place to put some savings.
