I don't have a line of credit for my business with my bank. I was thinking that it might be a good thing to get in case of an emergency. If I wanted to do this would I need to have my credit report pulled? Is it tough to get a line of credit? I've maintained a business account with the same bank for the past 9 years, but money usually goes in and out of this account fairly quickly so I normally don't have large amounts of money just sitting there for prolonge periods of time. Is there any downside to getting a line of credit? I do not intend to use it, but want to have it for emergency situations so I don't get to a point where I need to ever carry a balance on a credit card.
