Springleaf Financial Question.

I am thinking of getting a loan from this company for $10,000 to put with some cash I have on hand to buy a piece of equipment for our business. With my credit scores and desire to move quickly they seem to fit my needs. While this is a personal loan the business will give me the money to pay it off over 6-8 months time. I have read lots of complaints about this company, but most seem to be from people who paid late and didn't get much love for doing so. In my situation do you think this is an acceptable company to deal with?

Re: Springleaf Financial Question.

I guess you can go with them if that is one of the only and last options you have.... They have a ton of complaints and I'm sure a good amount are from people paying late but that is a lot of complaints and they changed their name also which is another red flag.. Personally I would run not walk away from that company..

Re: Springleaf Financial Question.

Is this a little bit above a payday loan?

Anyone gone through the process to see what they got approved for and what they needed to provide to get the cash?

I don't like having to go into a branch, why can't it be all done online!!!

I will let you know what they want. They said it would be unsecured.

Did you apply already?

Does it go through and approve instantly based on... (type process) or you submit and it just says we will be in touch soon or call or come into such and such branch?

Re: Springleaf Financial Question.

I applied online then the local branch called me and told me that it would be unsecured and asked for paystub.

Re: Springleaf Financial Question.

They haven't told me any rates yet. They said they would call me when they had put something together. They called this morning to verify my employment so I should hear something soon. I told them I was in no immediate hurry.
