11/7/13 App Spree but denied by Citi & BOA

Hello I'm new as a member but not as a guest. First I like to thank everyone for all their help and inspiration on this forum. After trying to rebuild my credit for three years I went on an app spree on 11/7 I got approved with low limits but I still got new tradelines. However, I was declined by Citi and BOA I tried recon on both and was unsuccessful. Citi didn't even let me speak they said to wait for their letter and respond via mail. BOA said due to my 2 paid CO they can't approve me. What should I do? Give up on both?

Congrats on the cards. IMHO you should garden for 6 month at least to show responsible use of your cards. I know from personal experience Citi is a tough nut to crack. I have no experience with BoA maybe someone else will chime in.

For the paid COs, have you tried sending GWs? If not, definitely post in the Rebuilding Forum for more assistance.

Congratulations on your approval and welcome to the forum.

Re: 11/7/13 App Spree but denied by Citi & BOA

I've sent many they're from Midland Funding and West Asset Acceptance. They won't budge, I've even offered to pay additional for the removal.

Midland owns Asset Acceptance (assuming it's the same as West) and there have been some successes. Definitely keep trying.
