AEO Upgrade from store to Visa

Recently GECRB/SYNCB definitely has been showing more luv in general. A week or so ago logged in to see the upgrade offer to the AEO Visa (from the store card) so of course I accepted it and bam went from a $1k CL to $5k CL on the new account.

Hopefully this is a good sign that SYNCB isn't going to hammer reasonable/decent limits.

Can anyone report whether upgrade from AEO store card to AEO Visa is hard pull or soft pull? I had the screen pop up when I logged into my account that i was approved to upgrade - but I DID get asked to enter income. Did not get asked to enter SSN or any other info. Please respond as I would prefer not to have a HP.
