AmEx 3x CLI

So I've had my BCE card for over 60 days. It was approved for the initial amount of 10k. Now, I could ask for 30k but I feel like I wouldn't get approved for this amount by the automated system. Anyone else have experience with asking for this big of a credit line?

Edit: I got impatient and just submitted an increase to 25k and got instantly approved. Too scared to ask for the full 30k. =p

AmEx Green NPSL | Barclays Rewards MC $4,200 | BofA 1-2-3 Visa $1,500 | Phillips Conoco 76 Gas Card $600 | AmEx BCE $25k | Discover IT $1,000

Re: AmEx 3x CLI

Had you asked for the 30k, I've read that they request income proof for anything exceeding 25k. Also read that if that happens for a consumer iniated CLI, doing nothing results in no further action being taken. I may be wrong about this though.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Go for the full $6k. I am also 21. At the 61 day mark I got my Hhonors card from $2k - $6k.

Too many INQs & low AAoA so I'm off to tend the Garden.     Age:23
