Just thought I would share this - I was hesitant in asking for a 3x CLI for the following reasons:
In the last 2 months or so (since getting Amex), I have 5 new credit card accounts - totalling over $22,000 of "new credit"
I have only run around $1100 through my BCE card since I got it - which was around 72 days ago
Because of the above, I only asked for a 2x CLI ($4k to $8k) - some may say that i should have asked for $12k, but $8k would be my largest CL to date
- I got nervous hitting the button, but was instantly approved - I thought I would share, in case there are others with a similar story to mine 
Next time go for it...they will counter.
