Got my new Visa Signature Forward card with chip technology in the mail today so I thought I would push Citi to see how generous they really are. I bought some large appliances with the card a few weeks ago, so I have a balance of about $1,300 but the statement hasn't cut yet. I PIF every month, but charge about $300-600 Per month. The form said no credit report would be pulled, so I put in my income and rent and pressed submit. They came back with a $1,600 increase which brings my total credit line on that card to $9,600.
For reference, my last CLI on this card was a little over 6 months ago and I got $1,500. That was back when you had to request an amount, so I only asked for $1,500 because I was afraid of HP. The new form makes things much easier, and I'm very happy with the results. I'll be back in 6 months or another CLI!
