Nice work on the CL recon.

Well I just got off the phone with an analyst, he looked over my info and said if I BT over the $4000, they'd increase my limit to $7,000. I also was sure to ask if they'd CL decrease me as I paid that down. He assured me that wouldn't happen, so I went for it.
Nice, congrats

Got instant approval online and called and was advised starting limit is only $4500. I was wanting to 0% BT over the $4000 I have on my NFCU card (only card I carry a balance on) but not at the risk of 89% utilization on that card! Sitting on NFCU its only 20%. Can Discover starting limits be reconned? How are they with CLI's?
Congrats on your approval
$7000 is an incredible way to start with Discover! It took me a year to just hit $6500 after starting at $1500.
You can probably get an additional HP CLI in 3 months to raise the limit to a five digit CL. That would definitely push utilization on that card down to where the utilization % on that card is a non-issue.
