wow, congrats!!! Those are very impressive Credit limits!!!
My credit score is fair, and I just got approved for a $5,500 credit line. Also, 5K from Chase Freedom. For the person whom relayed they were declined with e 800, plus credit score, I would use the backdoor number and discuss. Would very well have been an error in the application.
Looking on building my credit about 700...wish me luck

Maybe they made a mistake.
A Computer glitch.
you have a 800 score and your wondering **bleep**? lol I only imagine what you'd get with Navy Federal, I remember when I got my first 17k credit limit I was like O_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was on a high for a few days lol then I read the interest rate 5.99% I was like O_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This afternoon I just verified that all my Real Fico scores were above 800.
I wonder how low my scores are going to go down now. LOL
I guess it really does not matter actually.
I have the cards I wanted to get.
0 to 800+ in 10 Months.
I could not have done it without all your help.

I think maybe I will Quit while I am a head.
I went from no credit at all to way more than I need.
You got a 30 day message right? That sounds like verifying info...I got that on my forward, called in and all they needed was a phone number! I was instantly approved for 3k (6x my highest limit at the time). So go for it! Its one call, and discover is great! The nicest CRs I've ever dealt with.

I paid in full and just let one card report 2%.
That seemed to get the highest bump 2% usage reporting.
If you need to use more credit you can make multiple payments before the due date.
I did that often but never more than tree payments a month.
You will see your scores rise quickly.

@distantarray wrote:call the recon line for Chase Sapphire, they don't like opening two accounts on the same day but you can talk them into it, if you have a checking with them use that as your leverage people have reported they didn't know you had one unless you tell them. I was able to recon no problem. Got both on same day with much less score than you =)
UPDATE:
OK This is a bit overwhelming !!
I went to the Chase Site this evening and was checking my account and noticed that my newly approved Freedom account was all set up.
Before I leave the site I see the Chase Saphire Prefered card image all sparkly and Beckoning so I figure what the heck and clicked on it. (This is the Card I really wanted to begin with) To my surprise this time it allows me to fill out the application unlike this afternoon.
I hit the Apply button and INSTANT APPROVAL !!
I nearly spit water all over my MacBook Pro !
Here is the real crazy part......... my Credit Limit is (Drum Roll).................. $17,000.
That's not a Typo Seventeen Thousand Dollars.
I am going into the garden, locking the gate behind me and throwing the key down the well.
I think I need a drink.....(and I don't even drink)
Thanks Everyone it has been one Hell of a journey.
Congrats!!! Didn't I tell you that you'd be pleasantly surprised! I knew it'd be instant approval with a big limit! I am very happy for you!
I guess I should although the Discover card was supposed to be my "Safety" card.
Turns out it might be the toughest catch yet.
I will follow up tomorrow.
My head is still realing and distantarray has me in stitches.
