Is this normal?
Thanks~

Perfectly normal GE cards like to report right away! Enjoy the lowered utilitization in the meantime
Yep, that's one of the great things about GE. You hit submit, they approve and report it immediately. It's almost like they don't even give you a chance to change your mind LOL.

Thanks All! My utilization is at 6% and WILL be around there every month. I don't know why it surprises me, when you expect them to report they don't, and when you don't expect them to they do!
Yes, this is normal for the Walmart card since it's backed by GE Capital Retail Bank. Congrats on the approval!! So you got approved for an 8k Walmart Discover? If you want to, you can call GE underwriting to recon for a higher limit. 10k would make this your first card with 5 digits!

Sorry, had to fix my Sig, its 1800, 1.8k! When my DCU and Chase Freedom 5k cards report Ill call GE for a recon, Ill ask them to match the 5k of the other cards. :-)
