Cap One doubled my CL from $1,000 to $2,000. I've had the account open for 6 months. Payments have been early and frequent to keep my utilizations down, for the most part. Oddly enough my utilization was a bit high when I got the increase.
Sounds like the largest credit steps increase I've heard of.

Wow, nice credit steps... I started with 2k CL, next month, credit steps said $500 CLI... so I will be getting 2.5K CL... sadly, it's still lowest limit.
Or maybe it's just said generic $500 CLI... hopefully I will be getting more.. atleast 1k or 2k...
Which Capital One card do you have? Is it the Secured?
I have the Secured and I'm about to get my 6th statement at the end of this month. $600 CL and always PIF
Credit steps CLI - last CLI you'll see from them for eternity.
eviLution: I have an unsecured platinum card.
That is a huge credit step CLI from them. I started with 3k and they only bumped me $500. Congrats.

Thanks. I'll be lucky if I'll get even a $100 increase on my 6th statement lol. Congrats!
I got my green MC rewards from Capital One about 9 months ago. Started with a $500 CL and they automatically increased it to $3,500 about 5 months ago. When I first got the card they said I was in credit steps and that after 1 year my CL would be raised to $750....I guess they changed their mind.
