Just wanted to provide the forum with my recent CLI request from Chase on my Freedom card. I called the CSR number to inquire as to a CLI with my Freedom card with limit of 2K to match my BoA card of 7K. I was breifly put on hold and told that they would need 7- 10 days to review my account and request. This was of course a hard pull. I hung up and called the reconsideration number and spoke to a pleasant lady who did a manual review ( without an additional hard pull.) Within 2 minutes she said congrats, we have increased your limit to 7K as requested. So the hard pull got me the increase I wanted. By the way, I have had the card 8 months. I was pleased with the increase.

No. actually the opposite. I have only used it for gas purchases for the past few months. At best, I was moving $100 a month through it.

Chase recons are pretty swift in their decisions, that is when you get a good one.
