I also bank at chase I have their premier plus checking and savings. They pull me off the line and told me I had a real pre approvel for freedom and slate, I took the freedom. Now I wish I knew that if I would of applied for csp in branch I would of got a better deal,, but I'm looking at the United Club card but dont know if I should wait since I just got csp this month

what do you mean by the text in red?

same as i posted?

in our systems a pre approval doing a transaction is fitting some kind of requirements.

on the other hand if you sit down with a banker and look over your accounts and it says your pre approved your getting the damn card lol. if you want it that is.

I dont know how I did that red thing.  The catch when I did the freedom pre-appoval with the banker I never got the $ 200 bonus , I was told that when you use a banker you lose the bonus, but I still push and called different account rep. and was able to get it

CSP is siggy or bust actually.  There isn't a regular version of the card.

Swampy: congrats senor, that is a sweet approval!  Hoping I get similar in a year or so.  Out of curiosity, when did you open your Chase checking and/or savings account?

Opened my checking account in July of this year with a $150 bonus coupon. Was planning to close it after 7 months and keep the bonus, but I have been so impressed with their banking and electronic processing speeds that I ended up closing both of my Capital One deposit accounts instead.
