I got the standard offer of 40K points on 2K purchasr in first 3 months at 15.24% interest. My limit is 5K just like my Freedom.

my credit is around a 690....AAOA of 10 months and oldest account is a cap1 card 1.2 years old. I think me being a 3 year chase checking customer with direct deposit and having the Freedom card at 5K limit helped.

The checking and having a Freedom helped for sure.

 

Chase is alot more willing to give you things if you have a Checking account, mostly cause they charge you a huge (imho) fee when your balance drops below $1,500.
