Called GECRB again today and got my Walmart card upped from the original $1100 limit to $5000 and had the same CSR bump my limit to $6000, even though I asked for $10,000, she told me I'd get a letter in the mail in 7-10 days as to why they couldn't give me the full amount, no harm done as they were both a SP!! No complaints here!! Should've asked about my Amazon card!!

Thanks again for the tips everyone!! I saved the GECRB Credit Services in my phone and I'll remember to call back in 4 statements!

Re: Cap1 EO Success - App Spree

Random question,

I can't remember exactly when I last received a CLI for my Amazon Store Card, but whenever I try to do the LUV button on the site, it tells me they can't process my request *online* at this time.

Does this mean it hasn't been four months since my last increase?

Thanks!

Re: Cap1 EO Success - App Spree

Not sure what happened with the Amazon Store Card, called GECRB and asked for an increase to $5k expecting a counter offer, she denied me and said I'd get a letter stating why in the next 7-10 days, oh well! Worth a shot! I don't NEED the CLI, figured I'd expand my open credit a bit! Hopefully it's because I haven't had my current limit for 4 statements.

Re: Cap1 EO Success - App Spree

Tried posting last night, but site was under maintenance when I logged in:

I applied to join PenFed and DCU last night with the $15 and $10 donations to organizations accordingly. PenFed is more for a future consideration with their low rates on auto loans and such as well as when I'm done gardening I'll apply for a CC with them, DCU I joined as I have already been approved for a credit card through their CU, just needed to complete a membership!!

Amazon is it's own animal.  My Amazon has been stuck at a $700 CL since July.  JCP moves up with the LUV button like clockwork every 4 statements, and even Wally budged once with the LUV button.
