I agree the account is young and from my research, Capital One is stingy with CLI. Just wanted to comment on my income, it is approximately $32,000 a year.
I think this is the type of abusive behavior that will ultimately make it harder for those in situations where they've had 2-3 years behind them with no CLI from CapOne asking for one through the EO. Not to be brash, but consider yourself lucky that they even gave you $250 provided your limited history and your income. :: soapbox dismounted ::

Well done...well done...now just try to have patience and your credit will grow nicely. The wait will be well worth it...mark my words
The executive office gave me a $500 increase. It was never my intention to get a credit increases they just offered to try and get me one so i said sure why not since it's not a HP. They did remove my $60/YR fee's and gave me rewards.
It really works!I sent an email to the executive office yesterday and after an hour somebody called me and left a voice message on my phone.I was surprised it's frome capitalone one executive office.I returned his call rightaway and got to talk to this nice man explaining the details of my request.I told him i never got an increase despite of have a perfect payment history on this card.I have higher limits on my other cards and got stuck here at 750 which is so low and no flexibility of using it. I requested for 5000 and he said if iver i wouldn't approved for that month, would i be willing to accept even for a lesser amount and said yes ,better than nothing. After a few talks,he told me just to wait for his call maybe tomorrow or in a few days while the underwriters are reviewing my request...just checked my account this morning,I noticed my credit limit now is 2000.I was expecting more than that.Well, like i said better than no increase at all...
I got a $500 increase and I've been with them for 3 years.
Try sending an email to the executive office for an increase...
