Capital One Increased My Secured Card $100

Received the email this morning. I feel so honored. Hahaha! I debated for awhile rather to add more to my deposit. Decided against it since I don't want to keep this card past the year mark. Refuse to pay them another annual fee. It served it's purpose and opened the door to other cards. Thanks for the $100 but you'll remain sockdrawered till your September closure!

And I forgot to report Fingerhut gave me an auto cli of $600. Don't know when it happened. Just logged into my account to make a payment and saw it went from $500 to $1100. I'll take it!

They did the same with my DW secured card, +$100 after like 2 months.  Wouldn't give me anything.  Mine is finally closed after 2 years, hers will be by the middle of this year.

As you stated, it did it's job   Time to move on.

For the 2 years I had the secured card from capitalone, never once I got any auto CLI. I cancelled it today because I got approved for their QuickSilver with 3k CL :-D
