Chase Freedom CLI

Secure Messaged Chase on their website asking about a CLI.  Had to give them permission for a HP an EX (also had to give them a pin to unfreeze).  Spent about 20 minutes with an analyst going through every item on my CR (including 1 late payment from 2007).  Asked why I was looking for increase, yada yada.....

CLI approved $3,700---->  $10,000

Re: Chase Freedom CLI

That's worth a HP

Congrats

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Chase Freedom CLI

Thanks all!

They pulled Exp, score was 719.  $140k-ish income.  A couple of late payments in 2007/2008, other than that report is clean.  Current utilization showing on report is less than 10% (quite a bit of which is Chase so they can see that it was paid after the statement cut on CSP), the balance on this card was $18 when i requested.

When I did I got a message back that it was forwarded to the correct department for review. Two days later I received a telephone call from te Executive Office to look at the report (no hard) and to upgrade it.

Hopefully this shows people not to be afraid of Chase's hard inquiry policy, as it can yield very nice results.
