both cards are also visa signature...i am so glad i got these now i can work on these cards to gain CLIs on them and see if i can get chase to raise limit on freedom at some point....i mean come on they just gave me $10k in new credit within five days but wont give me a $1000 CLI?!?!?

Wow, 50% utility and mid 600 FICO and you got a $5k approval x2?? Very nice.

I am looking to app for Chase Priority Club in April plus a couple more that I havent decided on. But its probably going to be a Citi card and another AMEX

Frankly if I could get approved for a CSP, and/or for the UA card (if I used that airline) I'd apply too.  Hard to find fault with anyone's applying for a card when they're rather wholesale upgrades over the majority of their tradelines.

Gardening's purpose is to increase one's credit profile to increase one's available options and terms when seeking credit, and should *not* be a means onto itself.  

In my view, a good credit score's purpose is to secure credit at favorable market terms, and not as a mythical high number to admire for posterity's sake.  The CSP, especially with the sign up bonus is absolutely worth an inquiry.  In the case of it being a "wholesale upgrade" over existing tradelines, I'd say it's even worth a triple pull, a la Cap One!
