DISCOVER IT CLI (6X)

I had a Discover More card for the past 2 years with a starting limit of $500.

It never grew lol. I once went over the limit and maybe that was the reason.

I have tried a couple of times and was declined each of those times in the past 12 months.

This month I PC'ed to the Discover it card. I thought it requires a minimum limit for transfer but it didn't. So it transferrred after the last statement cut.

Then today I tried again for a credit limit increase.

BAM!

$500 -> $3000. (The CR says she was she was 'pleasantly' surprised because usually the limit doesn't go beyond 1.5 times the original)

Plus 0% balance transfer for 12 months.

(Funny thing is that the balance transfer wasn't showing before the credit limit increase)

Oh by the way, just another piece of information if it helps.

GE Amazon uses the TU08 score(atleast for credit limit increases)

Thats what I saw, comparing the score in the letter. bUt who knows, maybe it was just a coincidence.

Re: DISCOVER IT CLI (6X)

I wish they matched by cash+ $8000 limit. But I am not complaining.

And there was no hardpull(according to the CR).
