Re: Discover SP CLI (2 months after previous)

Last night I was checking my Discover card and noticed that the CLI page was available for me to use. I’ve had the card since October and did the 3 month CLI in January(was unfortunately a HP) so I didn’t think this page would be available or that I would be eligible for a SP increase. Either way, I knew from people here that it is many times a SP so I thought to give it a shot. I put an increase of $2000 so my new limit would be $7000 if approved.

Clicked the luv button and got the dreaded message about how it needs to be reviewed and I would get a decision in 2 business days. I was scared this would mean it would be a HP and ruin my time in the garden. Fast forward to this morning, got a call from a Discover rep regarding my inquiry. He asked for income/housing info that I had inputted and then after giving him everything, he said thank you for being with us and he had no issue immediately raising me to 7k! I inquired if it was a SP or HP and he told me there was no need to pull a report!

So happy with Discover and it has grown from 2k->7k in 5 months!
