J Crew Shopping Cart.. approved.. but upset!!

Don't give up, OP. They are consistent with CLIs, just search the boards here, there are plenty of posts about it. I did the shopping cart trick with J Crew in Oct, got a lousy $250 limit. Today it is $850. I plan to hit the luv button tomorrow; day before my statement posts.

I wouldn't be too worried.

My card started at $250 about a year ago. It's increased to $2250 with nearly monthly presses of the love button...sometimes $200 at a clip but lately they've been giving $300 at a time.

If you can set up an account, I'd try now!

Did the shopping cart trick and got $500 from Loft and $250 from J. Crew.  I have this in addition to $3000 from Cap1 and $680 from Victoria's Secret.  After I get the cards, I am going to hit the LUV button.  Just need to garden for 6 months to keep more positive TLs and higher CLs.

Hoping to get preapproved for a FHA summer of 2015, so just need to have more goodies reporting while I GW all the baddies.

when you recieve the pre-approved pop-up, is it accurate? or can you apply and get denied still? and is it really a soft pull?

it being a soft pull, i gave it a shot. got approved for 250, registered account online then hit the luv button and increased to 450 instantly.

still in the garden since it was a SP its like they stood outside the garden and threw me a pen and paper to sign.
