JCrew CLI Thru Automated Phone System Approved

Congrats on the CLI OP! I was denied for a CLI using the online method last month. Decided to call just now and bam $400 increase to $2300. Thx for the tip

I just call VS back and APPROVED for +$200! When I called earlier I made the mistake of saying I want a "specific" CLI, this time I called and said I did not want a specific amount....and BAM...$200!

yes, the system asks what it can help you with... say Credit Line Increase. and NO when asked if you want a specific amount.

great post! thanks, i thought the days of monthly CLI's were over with my JCREW card worked for me as well, $200 increase

Boo I tried on my VS and it said I had to be transferred to a CSR! Also, something about being elig for Account Assure.... Maybe my other cards will work...

All of my Comenity cards gave me a CLI thru the phone except for VS.  I called and gave an amount and denied.  I called back without an amount needed and denied.  I use that card a lot and I've had it for 11 months.

I just tried with my Express account via automated phone sytem, it went up from $500 to $700.

CA you are the man.

Tried our 7 Store cards :/ - yes, I know, but rebuilding it felt great to get pre approved for these, and we actually use them fairly regularly - except JCrew(a bit expensive and with only $250, doesn't go very far).

ME

Express - no go

HSN - 250 to 450 to 650 then a "we cannot approve, get a letter etc"

DW

VS - no

Woman Within - CSR

JCrew - No

Lane Bryant - CSR

One Stop Plus - no

Thing is we use these cards fairly regularly, the biggest balance is $200 out of $500 on DW Lane Bryant(although it is the newest).  Rest are $30 or less most at 0.

I'll take it, sorry for my DW though - and her scores are way better than mine - go figure.
