Then called the BDN and told them i was looking to buy some furniture... asked me how much was i looking and approved 5k. Did not even asked income nor permision to see credit r...

My cli was for my regular macys store card from 3 to 4.5 that i have for 5 years. The 5ks is a total new tradeline...you can also ask for a trade line if you are going to be jewerly...

Congrats! Wouldn't the cl for furniture purchase be on that cl? Pretty sure Macys still has the Club or whatever they call it for lg purchases. I've never used mine.

I ve read about it before that is why i asked for it now. It is suppost to be a separated cl that does get reported but it can be close easily if you dont use it. But requires no hp most of the time. I ve been sp everymonth by macys. So i knew my last sp was im a good time.

Update: On the "success" of another poster.. I called Macys 2minutes ago (not backdoor number). The young lady said the "line of credit" is separate from the credit limit you have on the Macys card, She stated it is interest free for 12MONTHS if you pay if off in the time period. I had to ask her twice...to make sure she said it, basically two separate lines for credit for one red card. interesting... i might consider
